Found by chance on main street. Very interesting exhibits, lots of information about local history . Staff very friendly and helpful. Fascinating exhibit about local war veterans with audio comments from the men themselves making it more personal. Entry is free but donation box and...More

It may be a small museum but it is crammed full of Dingwall history and artefacts, especially about the town and the Seaforth Highlanders. The mannequins on show may not be the most lifelike but they do help bring their displays to life.

The museum really puts together a good story of the local history. I found the military section particularly interesting.

This is a small free museum. I think it’s very good if you if you want spend a hour there with exhibits on local history and people. This is also supported by donations so please give as it is well worth it.

This is a donation only fee local museum. I think it’s very good if you Bear that in mind. I think it’s a fun little place. Lots of displays shoehorned into a beautiful building. It’s fun! Visit! You won’t be disappoint

Learned so much about Dingwall history,it's people and it's heritage. Great wee part of Scotland from Vikings to ww2. Ian was excellent host.

Not even people allowed to stay overnight at this place. It’s a museum ;)
