Went to Dudmaston for the day. This was our second visit but like other N.T. Properties you can always see things you did not see before. Volunteers were very knowledgeable which was great as there were no information room boards . We had a lovely walk in the grounds and round the lake.

We arrived too late to see everything that was on offer, so we can't wait to go again. The gardens are beautiful and there's a little play area for under 12s. We had a lovely afternoon here, don't know why we've never been before, it's a lovely gem ❤️

spent an afternoon here. Interesting past to the property. Was able to view some of the ground floor. Plenty of grounds to stroll around during you visit.

Travelled to Dudmaston after a visit to Kinver Edge rock houses. Very knowledgeable volunteers in the house. Family live in the house and modern photos everywhere in with the old. A modern art exhibition something different than seen at other National Trust properties. Gardens more like a park, didn’t have time to explore around the lake. Enjoyed this property but not in my top 5 National trust properties.

Far too expensive for what was on offer. Only a small fraction of the house open to the public and half of that taken up with the current NT must have; a show of modern art. NOT a place to take your canine companion. Totally understand dogs not being allowed in the house, but the garden is not that special so why can't dogs walk through it? Ludicrously, had to walk an extra half mile at the end of a long woodland walk, all because to get back to the car park, we couldn't go near the garden. Come on NT; wake up to the fact that an awful lot of people have dogs now and the vast majority know how to keep them under proper control.

We were fortunate enough to be just in time for a Cocktail Tour - which turned out to be a tour of the Galleries' modern art. Not being modern art enthusiasts we didn't know what a treat we were in for, made so much better by the guide (unfortunately we didn't get his name) His enthusiastic explanation of the art we saw made it all make sense and it was really interesting. We will be returning to see the parkland and will definitely take another look at the art work again.

We had our dog and we’re advised post payment that there most places were unavailable to us as a result of having the dog. Effectively, we paid £18.90 to take our dog for a short (ish) walk. Absolutely scandalous to charge someone that much when you know they cannot see any of the attractions there.

Such a beautiful beautiful place, the views out over the gardens and the lake.
You can wonder around the woodland making your way to the lake. Little stream for kids to paddle in. There’s a nice little wooden park ( 2-10 aged ) the cafe is great nice selection of cake and drinks.
One of our favourite NT

We arrived early afternoon so enjoyed a pasty from the cafe which we could eat on the orchard picnic tables. The court rooms are mostly laid out in art gallery rooms, the botanical paintings were our favourites. The grounds wee lovely and well maintained after a difficult eighteen months. There is also an excellent 2nd hand bookshop which caters for all tastes, one of the best I've seen in NT places, booklovers paradise! Staff were helpful, you can also buy Worcester pearmain apples from reception this time of year. plenty of parking.
