Become a bit of a regular! Great beer, gin, and company. Last weeks port and cheese evening was particularly enjoyable. It is rather snug as its only small, but that's all part of the fun. The beers change almost daily, there are 5 hand pumps and Julie the landlady has introduced me to some wonderful gins. There's even a 'snug... More

What a little gem this place is! I've been in here a few times now but only for a quick pint. The beer is great, the welcome is very warm and the atmosphere is cosy and quirky. It really is a micro-pub and one of a kind. Next time I visit I plan to stay for more than one pint!

"The snug" is an apt name, especially as this place gets quite a few visitors, but most are friendly so "the cozy" would be just as appropriate. I meet a friend here regularly n we enjoy working our way through the ever changing cask menu. Prices r reasonable and there is a loyalty card which I enjoy filling. Recommended for... More

Me & my hubby visited there on Thursday evening. Wasn't packed so was ideal for us to sit on one of the high stools and indulge in a few games of Connect 4, Dominoes & some quizzes while supping the wine for me & Chocolate Marble pint of ale for my hubby. Didn't park there though as it was quite... More

Thank you for your kind review and glad you enjoyed your evening with us. We fully agree with your comments about the toilets but leaks and damp have been a problem since we opened in 2012. Our landlord (Carnforth Station Heritage Trust) have been unable to do the necessary repairs and we are waiting for serious structural repairs to be... More

Great selection of quality beer, seemed popular as it was very busy on the Saturday afternoon when we visited. Street food counter outside serving Thai food.

A few cancelled trains and fate brought me to this fabulous pub. I was frazzled and exhausted when I arrived and almost immediately the landlord and lady and the locals cheered me up and after a large merlot, a chat with the friendly locals and a vodka taster I left for my much delayed train with my spirits well and... I have never been in a more friendly, cosy pub! The landlord and his wife are such lovely people, who welcome you as friends from the first ever visit. It's like walking into their home. Great rhubarb and ginger gin, yum! The locals are all so chatty and friendly. Can't wait to return. Thank you xx
