Besides the religious and cultural characters of this Jewish Ghetto, other historical and geographic aspects of living in underground Pitigliano are well exposed.

A must see, especially if you read up about it before hand. There are several rooms underground and one can imagine the hardship that the people must had endured.

A well maintained and managed historical site. Don't miss taking a guided tour if you're in the area. You'll learn a lot - and it doesn't take long.

Very interesting visit to the site of the old synagogue and ghetto. Saw a video about the Jewish cemetery, which we could see but not find the way in. Must explore more thoroughly next time!

So sorry - I don't know for definite. It is not used apart from occasional hirings, more a museum, so I would imagine it only opens in normal working hours in a tourist area. Sorry I can't be more help.
