Nice church
Aug 2019 • Couples
This is a nice church, but not as nice as many others that Italy has to offer. More impressive from the outside

Italian baroque interior, some appealing details, new organ, inside renovated, but wouldn't go out of my way to visit it.

Main church in Pitigliano
Oct 2018 • Friends
You will notice/see the church even before you arrive in Pitigliano. Once you arrive in the city you will notice the ever present bells ringing. It's a beautiful small cathedral in a very beautiful little city. Worth your visit.

Impressive Altar
Aug 2018 • Couples
We had just lunched next door and ventured into the building and as with most Italian Duomos' there is much ornate work and this is no exception with the altar adorned with huge marble columns. Worth taking a few mins out to explore.

Peter, Paul.......and Mary.....Not the Band!
May 2016 • Couples
The Duomo Saints Peter & Paul is one of the most beautiful buildings in the small Tuscan village of Pitigliano. While wandering through the village, we came across the Duomo and we were awe struck. Dating back to 1061 A.D.the cathedral is absolutely beautiful inside and out. When in Tuscany, it is worth visiting this beautiful little village.

St Peter and St Pauls
Jun 2016 • Couples
This is very easy to find and access. Beautiful inside and out with lovely side chapels and amazing marble floor and an air of total cool serenity. We liked that some of the offerings were electric candles and others are wax. A timeless place.

Landmark in the area
Nov 2015
In any picture of Pitigliano, from a angle, the first thing you'll notice is the tower of the Saints Peter and Paul.
Like everything else in town, it's a classic.

Astonishing City a must visit in Tuscany
Sep 2015 • Friends
The church is just one of the special things about this city. The views, the streets, the restaurants, the hand made leather crafters... All just like a scene from Hollywood movies, only real!

Whole town a must see
Jun 2014 • Friends
The old town is perched high on a cliff top accessed through a gate.....wonderful exploring all the medieval walkways, well worth a 2/3 hour visit including lunch in one of the squares.
