Great for freeride, nice slopes for children

The snow has very good quality even at the end of March - you are at high altitude. Many slopes are very good for children. You can find enough good restaurants and toilettes. The... read more

The snow has very good quality even at the end of March - you are at high altitude. Many slopes are very good for children. You can find enough good restaurants and toilettes. The only thing I would complain about was the slopes maintenance - during our three days skiing the slopes have not been maintained at all. This I... More

Some of the slopes were made only to the half. Great for freeride but not good for piste skiers. The gletcher cave/museum was nice.

Great snow and short lift queues. Best for beginner and intermediate as there are only three blacks. Progressions are good allowing beginners to improve without scaring themselves.

We stayed in Innsbruck and travelled to Stubai via the free bus service - although this takes an hour each way, it is well worth the effort. This is my favourite ski area of the Olympia Ski resorts due to the variety of terrain and always excellent snow conditions. This year a new ski lift has been built at the... More

The highest point to start your ski-trip down is 2300 m. The Gondola is pretty new, so the ski-pass price is too :) Mountain panorama is amazing!

Really good skiing for the day with plenty of trails. Be sure to make sure you are in time for the cable car down to the bottom if you need to catch a bus as lines can be long. Snow was a bit lumpy towards the end of the day.

Great place for family ski-ing, especially as we had lots of new snow, Good food on the mountain with the added bonus of great views. The kids loved the glacier cave-grotto

During Christmas 2016 there was no snow in Innsbruck, however, great Christmas Markets! So for skiing we went to the Stubaier Glacier by a free ski bus just outside our Hotel in the central Innsbruck and it was a great experience with lots of snow and long well prepared slopes. We've got a three days ski pass and rented skis... More

the gletcher is high enough. up to 3200 meter to guarantee snow. there are close to 30 skilifts and plenty of possibilities for beginning and moderate skier. not so much for snowboarding, more family type of tracks
