Very well thought out monument and eerily captivating. The South African story is not easy and the perspectives on history obviously subjective. Told from the Boer perspective, this is a very moving monument.

This is a long way off the beaten track to go for a 15 min video and a large sculpture! Considering its regarded as a focal point in South Africa's history they haven't made much effort to attract visitors. Very disappointed as was hoping for...More

very nice place to go and learn about early history of south Africa, grounds are well kept and the staff are super friendly and helpful, this was my second visit and will surely be back for a 3rd visit

It is important to visit both the Afrikaner museum and the Zulu museum. The are situated in different places on the site of the battle. A very memorable day.

Very informative from both the Voortrekker and Zulu sides. Grounds and facilities are well maintained with friendly staff to assist at the Restaurant.
