I married a MacPherson, so visiting this was a must on our recent trip to Scotland. The museum did not disappoint. The moment we walked in we were greeted by the friendly staff and were able to have some one-on-one time with them before we...More

Enjoyed our visit to the museum and very interesting. It appears that the museum sadly only relies on donations to survive and we made donation. The problem with the displays explaining the history of the clan are all printed on sheets of A4 laminated paper...More

This is a very well curated little museum detailing the history of this clan up to modern times. Some interesting exhibits and souvenirs to buy

An absorbing couple of hours. This museum is a little different from may other museums I have visited. There is parking round the back, and admission is free.

We arrived at this museum a short while before it closed so didn't really get the benefit of all the information. Amazing place, however, with lots of information on the history of the clan which is very interesting.

Popped in here as I was staying in BB just opposite, it was so interesting with lots to see. You get a short video when you first go in which was good. Well worth a visit

Thank you for your enthusiastic endorsement! I agree that we are very lucky to have our fabulous display on Sir Tommy Macpherson, which is possible through the generosity of his family in allowing us to have so many items on loan. It was my pleasure...More

Today we visited the Clan MacPherson Museum which was kindly opened for us by Kate. The museum is fascinating and in depth and is a credit to the custodians. Thank goodness our ancestors and clan can be remembered and the clan relics preserved. Thank you...More

I'm sorry, but we are unable to help. The museum giftshop no longer stocks this item. It was a novelty souvenir and not a detailed map.
