We went round anti clockwise from the north end of Newtonmore. This is the best section and most scenic. The lower section round the golf course not so interesting but easier part of the walk. Simple well signposted trail. Suitable for kids or adults although the wild cats could be easier to find!

Hunting for the hidden cats painted in different colours is great fun, if you walk up towards the station then around the golf course you can spot quite a few. Great for kids and adults

Good trail to keep children interested looking for Wildcats dotted around the village, whilst enjoying great scenery and fantastic landscape.

A great way to discover more about the area. Find the Wildcats and bring some money to the area. Excellent fun.

Although we did not do the whole wildcat trail, we certainly did most of it. The trouble is that the area has many interesting diversions so it is difficult to stick to the programme. Wildcats are to be found all over Newtonmore and it is always fun to find a new one.

We had a grea time seeking out all the different cats all around town. Everyone put a lot of thought and artistic creativity into each one.
