We ate here at 1pm which was far too late. I’d recommend eating here when it opens at 11am and the food would be fresher than we enjoyed. Also, seating inside is limited. The padron peppers were tasty as was the baby squid. The croquettas...More

As always the markets abroad offer such a selection of produce and the fish market is a 'must see'. There are all sorts of fish here to buy and in one half of the establishment one can buy traditional tapas and have a beverage. A...More

We have been here twice now and both times we have been thoroughly spoilt with the food and drinks on offer! Based in central Mahon you aren’t far away from anything yet it is like it’s own little hub. The food is exquisite and reasonably...More

A casual eating place in the centre of Mahon. You select fantastic tapas from several different outlets, then a drink from a choice of the beer or wine bar, and relax. And there is fresh fish available to take home. It is very popular, and justifiably...More

Every time we are feeling peckish in Mahon around lunchtime we visit a whole range of food and drink to suit all. Relaxed atmosphere.

The tapas looks very inviting but it stands on the counter unrefrigerated and open to the flies. The women's toilet had no soap and a non working dryer. The mens had no soap. Hygiene is too haphazard for me.

The old fish market has found a new lease of life with tapas bars and wine shops. The wine shops sold some lovely white and red wines by the glass and bottle. The food was good - nothing to rave about though as it was...More

You're never quite sure what to expect beforehand (reading reviews) so I was expecting an extensive market (as we've seen in some Mediterranean coastal towns and cities) so this one was decidedly small in comparison. Quick walk round and you've seen it all! OK, so...More
