Our group stopped by Ravagni, the Olive oil farm and met Francesco Bartolomei. He shared his passion for his olive oil in an animated reenactment. Then we walked with him to his home and delighted in tasting his many varieties of olive oil and vinegars. We shared a typical Tuscan family lunch with his delicious wine and even grappa. Francesco... More

Quite simply the best thing you can do on holiday. Hang out with Francesco and his lovely mum enjoying their beautiful home and delicious food. Our kids loved trying all the different olive oils and playing with Aphrodite the sweetest dog. Francesco is a great host and hugely passionate. We spent hours chatting and eating way too much. I recommend... More

I am writing a very late review since my friends and I visited Francesco Ravagni and his wonderful parents for a dinner/degustation in July 2015. We were looking for local olive oil producers and we were lucky enough to be given this address. Francesco was so welcoming and so passionate about his work, his products and his culture that we... On our return visit to Tuscany we had to come back to Ravagni - what a wonderful place. Francesco and his family are so passionate about their wonderful Olive Oils and quite rightly so; they're delicious. I love their extra virgin olive oils and the Fennel infused oil is great over a green salad with fresh oranges. It's amazing to... More

If you are searching for an authentic Italian experience in Tuscany, please arrange a visit to Ravagni since 1421, near Arrezzo. We visited this place on a cooking excursion to the region and were swept away by the history of the place and the warm, wonderful family who have kept this vibrant, family run, small scale olive oil business alive... We came to see how olive oil was made. Which we did and so much more. We were given lunch which lasted all afternoon. Everything was made entirely from produce from Francesco's own garden, including the wines, grappa, honey, lots of different flavoured olive oils. All in a beautiful Tuscan garden. I would definitely return and am still recommending this... More
