Nice and warm mud bath. Interesting although smelly, but it's the smell of nature, an active volcano. Afterwards you can dip in the ocean and swim around the hot fumaroles. Incredible for only 3€ and 1€ shower. Loved it! Amanda

Very good place to relax after the climb to the crater. You could chill off in the sea after the mud bath. The sea is also heated by the thermal activity so you could remain in the water even in winter.

I knew this kind of terms, so I didn't try them, because the smell was really not nice, but mud is good for body. I preffer to go and have a nice lunch in the village, chat with local people and have fun.

The facilities are basic but it is fun to smother yourself in smelly mud and I do think it was actually good for my skin.... Tips: Wear old swimmers or underwear as the smell may never leave them and may discolour Wear footwear eg thongs/flip flops as really hot steam seeps through cracks in the ground and burn your feet!... on a sunny day, its very difficult to seat in the bath/pool/mud pond ,as there is no means of shading above and you are exposed to the strong sun.All the facility is very poorly look and kept. There are open showers with plastic coins that enable you 1 minute of running water.

Warning: This place makes you smell for ages. When getting home, it took serveral showers to get the smell out of by body and hair. My earrings were colored black and the bath were not really a bath. But despite that, it was quite realaxing and left my skin soft like a baby. Very fun to try!

We arrived from Lipari and the minute you leave the boat the smell of sulphur hits you. The port is right by the thermal baths. We had great fun rolling around and smothering ourselves in the mud. Followed by a dip in the sea which has thermal springs. Many people sear by the healing properties and I have to say... More

We rolled in the mud like pigs and joked with the Italians. The sulphur smell is part of the experience so we didn't mind that at all. Be careful not to put the mud on your face as it can irritate your eyes for days.
