About
On the Oberaudorf-Hocheck adventure mountain there are several highlights such as the particularly attractive TÜV-certified summer toboggan run with 360-degree roundabout, the Oberaudorf aeroplane, freefall slide, a gold panning facility and a large hiking area. In winter you will find a ski area with floodlights and a long winter toboggan run

super nice experience. lots of fun stuff:

we truly enjoyed the ride up and down as a family in the 4 seating „flying coach“.

Very very small
Feb 2017 • Friends
It is pracically one slope only, at low altitude therefore if too warm, impossible to ski. Option for night skiing too.

Night skiing at its best
Jan 2016 • Family
As a South African we do not get the opportunity to ski very often and need to make the most of it. The flood lights on the ski slopes made it possible for us to get an additional 3 hours skiing per day without any additional cost. Slopes for all ages and skill levels.

From the Village centre to Hockeck and summer/winter rodelbahn /sledge run and hiking trails
Oct 2016 • Solo
The chair lift has been refurbished in recent years and from the edge of the centre of the village (free car park) takes you to Hocheck . You can use this then to come down skiing and winter bahn (very good) also a multiple of walking trials into the area above Oberaudorf and easy to create a round trail . Why not walk through to Dorfl and back via Luggsteinensee ? good round trip without a very difficult trail and some alms on route ! Or just enjoy the view at Hockeck a beer or a coffee at the top and enjoy the view . Also easy to walk back down the road or the sledge run (not in winter) ... Enjoy !

Fun for summer and winter
Aug 2016
In winter it's a 300 m high ski slope, in summer a tin toboggan hill, four plastic ski jumps a wire slide and a trekiing hill. At the top you can drink or eat at the Gasthof Hocheck or pat sweet little goats if the Billy goat with it's horns doesn't mind.
We didn't use the bergbahn but we climbed that 310 vertical along the meandering sled hill outside the ski slope an pat the little goats.

Good fun, good view

Nice view of the valley and the toboggan ride is good fun for people of all ages. Haven't gone to the top of the chairlift (toboggan stop is only half way), but nice view of the valley.

Fabulous views on the way down
Aug 2015 • Couples
Like all of these Bergbahns, the slow quiet movement is always a bonus, being able to hear the cowbells and silence is wonderful. The journey is about 15 minutes with a stage in the middle should you wish to alight and do some walking. At the top is a wonderful Gasthaus with spectacular views, a lovely terrace and of course superb Bavarian beer and food. I suppose the real joy of this particular Bergbahn is the journey down, where you have a long time to breath in the incredible views of the Kaiser mountains and the small town of Oberaudorf.

A delight
Jul 2015 • Couples
A lovely relaxing slow ride on the Hocheck 'Express'. Lovely views and so quiet. Also recommended is the Summer Rodelbahn. Great fun and OAP discounts as well.
Tip: ride the lift to the top station then on the return journey get off at the middle station for the Rodelbahn ride. Take a cart from the rack and carry it to the track but note that the carts are quite heavy.

Summer sledge ride
Jul 2015 • Family
Tried it with my children. Is safe from 7-10 years. It was fun and the children enjoyed it. The only thing was that there was no instruction or personell at the beginning of the ride downhill so you had to find out yourself (was easy).
