Go to see the stunning and numerous lakes in the region. Pure and unspoiled natural beauty. Its a couple hours from Vienna but worth it.

For me, this place is a must visit whenever you visit Austria. It took around two and a half hours from Vienna by car. The lake was so serene and the city of Hallstatt was so phenomenal too. Again, a must place to visit.

Hallstatt is one of those beautiful and magical little Austrian towns that must be on your wish list to visit. It is by far one of most magical places to be in.

G'day There are several parking lots in the village, all rather expensive. Just look for the signs and you should have no problem finding a space. Cheers Mike

The Ice Cave is open from 29 April until 29 October 2017. I think it is closed now due to weather condition Yes, you need cable car to get there, no matter what.
