We drove down to this place from Club mahindra madikeri . As a road laying process was going on we had to walk a decent distance to reach . It's got a pretty site and surely breathtaking during the monsoons

Approach to the falls is really challenging and one cant venture into the water. The flow is beautiful and gushy during Monsoon

Amazing falls its chelvara falls near kakkabe I have visited few of the falls in coorg region and this is best falls among all. The path is bit steep might be a challenge for the elderly and old. Really enjoyed lovely falls.

To reach this place on must have a strong heart and a good vehicle. But the joy of seeing the fall is another thing altogether. We spent more than an hour! Not to mention we carried jaggery-coffee to keep us company!

It is a lovely sight in the monsoon season. The walk down to the pool is quite steep and recommended only for people who are fit. The others can watch it from 100ft away. Parking may be an issue when the tourist traffic is high.

The Chelavara Falls is known to be one of the most beautiful waterfalls in this region. The hill is foggy at most times. You can even see the Arabian Sea from this hill.
