Mercara Gold Estate is a beautiful 12-acre estate located 8 KM from Madikeri. Whilst coffee was growing here since the 1960s we acquired it in 1998 and began a process of transformation by organising it into a well laid out farm with a wide array coffee, spices and fruit trees. Our vision was to develop Mercara Gold Estate into a fully-integrated unit, we began processing and roasting our coffees on the estate. We follow all time-tested processes with passion to produce our own range of boutique style coffee and well-balanced blends.

The way to the temple is a bit difficult to find and there was close to no person in the temple premises when we visited. The temple complex has a lake and is beautiful to look at. The shivling is kept very far away and there is a priest available for puja.

Serene, holy complex, built on Indo-Islamic Architecture. Lord Shiva is the presiding deity, worshiped here. Another temple in the middle of the sacred pond outside the main temple. It's not a regular tourist spot but a religious place of of worship, hence sanctity needs to be maintained. Dress Code followed ( No Shorts / Short Tops / Skirts / Sleeveless etc ) .
