Lovely way to spend am evening after travelling. Good mix of pools in lovely settings. Nice to see such a good amount of gardens in the facility.

Expectations were high as we had never been before having grown up in Christchurch could not believe it. We gpt there to find man made pools thought we were getting natural rock pools...bit dissapointing

The magic of the The Thermal pools was great. I peticurlarly liked the 42 degrees pool. Facilities were great.

We bought a two day ticket, which made it cheaper, so were able to enjoy two visits to the pools. The variety of temperatures were great.

These springs are the reason Hanmer exists. In saying that there are plenty of activities built up around them. I encourage you to read about the history of this place, it has a lot of significance to Maori.

The thermal pools cater for all visitors, couples, children, groups of friends etc. the pools range in temperature from quite hot to very hot. There are pools suitable for children and adults although the children's pools were closed for maintenance when we visited. Lockers are...More

Hi, the freshwater pool is 25 metres long. Just note that we have one lane roped off for lap swimming most days - the exceptions are public holidays (and the weekend attached to public holidays), and school holidays.
