This is the neatest place to see. This church is built to float in case of a flood. It's very old. If you look it up on the Internet it has a very good story about it.

this is so worth the trip to pine valley. the chapel is open most days for tours. it was built by a shipbuilder and they let you look inside the ceiling to look at how they constructed it as an upside down ship.

This is not our first time but we took my parents and they loved it. It's a nice little place with a ton of history. There are stairs and they are tight and steep but it is worth the visit.

Well organized and interesting tour of historical chapel. The tour guides were very friendly and nice people who made the tour well worth the time and there is no charge for this tour. This is a must see if you go to Pine Valley, Utah.

We live in Pine Valley and just love this old church and how it really adds to the charm of this little village and to top it all it is still being used! Worth a look!

This is an LDS worship chapel and is one of the oldest in the area. The style and architecture are of the late 1800's and the volunteers that show the chapel are very knowledgable about every detail. The pews are original as is most of the glass in the windows. There are some very interesting facts about wood that was... More

This is a quaint pioneer chapel in the remote area of Pine Valley. It is about a 45 minute drive from St. George, but worth it for the cooler temperatures. A local will give you a guided tour of the building. Make sure to stop at the General Store for ice cream.

We arrived on a Sunday around 6:30 PM believing that tours were available until 7:00. The gate was open, but when we noticed that the site was closed, decided to get out and take a photo before leaving. Just then, a man approached and said that he was coming to close the gate. We asked if we might take a... More

Take a ride to Gods country. Travel up State Route 18 about thirty minutes from St. George, Utah. Summer is cool and quiet. Fall season has all the beautiful Autumn colors as the changing of the tree leaf's, in yellows, red, and orange colors. It is introducing the end of the summer, and get ready for the winter snow. Snow... More
