A well put together exhibition with great staff. Well worth the money and time in a town with little day time entertainment

Excellent experience, was able to see all the different characters, Compo had his room set out with fantastic fact sheets all around all 3 rooms.

Small but very informative treasure in Holmfirth. Full of facts, props and tv coverage of moments from the show. Entry fee is a bargain at £2.50 compared to other similar places around the country. Gift shop is great too

Really interesting. I have loved Last of the Summer Wine for years and was excited to come here. Also went on tour around Holmfirth which was really interesting.

We'd read reviews of the Summer Wine Exhibition and formed the impression that it was small - so we thought we'd be OK arriving 45 minutes before it closed. We were wrong; we could probably have spent twice as long. The entrance is through the familiar door of Compo's House in the TV series, and you're immediately in a room... More

You just step back into the series when you walk in Compos cottage all the props used in some scenes show how they achieved the look of a real mangle which is made from foam ! All look so genuine but the best and a little sad are Compos jacket and some other clothes of his hanging up to dry... More

If you love Last of the summer wine then this exhibition is a must visit, starting in Compo's cottage which is packed full of props from the show, you then enter a room telling the full story of the programme, and you finish in the gift shop.

Only really small but then it is compos house loads of great bits to look at at and loads of props from the show a real must see for fans of the show and at £2.50 a head it's not gonna break the bank plus it's got a great little souvenir shop that's also cheap compared to most places and... More
