For small children there is plenty to do indoors if it is wet - indoor play area etc so you should be ok.

You can definitely do The Wookey Hole Caves and attractions in one day. The cave tour is around 45 minutes, then you have the 4D movie and other inside attractions. Then outside you have a few dinosaurs and King Kong to look... More
