Situated in Harmby across the road from the Pheasant Pub is a beautiful hidden waterfall. Walk down the bank on the left hand side is a public footpath to the falls.

There is something mesmerising about the noise of a waterfall. There must have been a lot of rain recently as it was quite powerful. Good waterfall for photographs.

A surprise which is hidden away, the waterfall is stunning in a none imposing way, a little gem in the heart of the Yorkshire dales.

Managed to get a pushchair down there. Baby also enjoyed the experience along with us adults. Not sure if all push chairs could do it.

We visited the falls on the last day of our break in Leyburn. Not expecting too much, but was pleasantly surprised. It's not exactly Niagra but is impressive in it's own way.

A friend took me here. I've driven past the entrance for years! It's a beautiful little waterfall, a short distance from the road and would be good for people with mobility concerns. There are two falls and it's in woodland so quite pretty. You can use it as a starting point for a longer walk, or just visit the falls.

The waterfall is quite interesting being so close to the village. For those who like to visit waterfalls it is an appetiser before you hit Askrigg, Aysgarth and Hardraw!!

Waterfall is a hidden gem in Harmby near the Pheasant Inn. Two falls in fact both with long drops set in nice overgrown woodland but reached by accessible paths. Impressive sight in June but must be very spectacular in winter after heavy rain, well worth a short visit.

Please understand this is a lovely little waterfall set back with easy access if you can't walk very far. But compared to other waterfalls in the area it does lack some wow factor. I would recommend this being a side attraction on a walk or something to see on the way to something else rather than your focus for the... More
