The Best Snorkling
May 2021
We were recommended this place and its lovely, there is also a small bar with the most amazing mojitos , there is no sand and the rocks are a little tricky to get into the water , but they also have steps to get in as well, a must to go and see when in Tenerife

Amazing view.

We visited the site yesterday. It was windy but the view was spectacular! Lots of stairs so you don't have to climb.

Great detour
Feb 2020 • Family
Great detour, with beautiful sedimentary layers exposed by oceanic erosion. You can walk along the cliffs, but be careful, they might be slippery.
The rim of the caldera is also worth a walk.

Beautiful view

Gorgeous beach. Very rocky with steep drops - not good for small children. Very windy but absolutely beautiful.

Walk from Gallettas to Abrigos
Aug 2019
I walked around the back of it, the best pictures seem to be of it from the coast side. Though there are plenty of impressive rock formations similar to this along the coastline. Nice piece of coast too, nice level walk, very nice.

Great snorkeling
Aug 2019
The waters are crystal clear and a good variety of fish to see. Check the tide times though as the ladders don't extend right down into the sea at low tide, so if it's a bit rough it makes it difficult to get in and out. The beach bar is a great place to have a beer afterwards and enjoy the chill-out music

Not much too see
Mar 2019 • Couples
Its good if you want a bit of walking exercise. If you are on public transport its best to walk from El Medano. If in a car you can use any of the car parks by the road into El Medano from Los Abrigos

Amazing natural wonder!
Aug 2018
It's the most photogenic yellow rocks on Earth. I've spent a lot of time just photographing that from different sides. If you're a photo maniac, you just must go there.

A hidden gem
May 2019 • Family
This is a hidden gem at the outskirts of the busy touristic area but it should be visited by any nature lover or diving enthusiast.
