Skellig Michael Cruises offers you the opportunity to visit Skellig Michael from a unique perspective. Many people who come to Portmagee are unable to climb Skellig Michael for a variety of reasons; young families, age, disability or time constraints etc. This is where we come in! Our eco tour circles both islands where you get up close to see the land marks, birds and historical sites. Skellig Michael Cruises are now pleased to announce from 2017 that we also do Landing Tours to Skellig Michael.

Our family took the Skellig Walker boat with Cav the skipper. This is one of the best boats for the Skellig Michael Landing tour. Cav was great! He met us early on the dock and because it was a cold morning, allowed us to wait...More

We rode out to Skellig Michael aboard the Deva with Captain Jamie Duff and mate Liam. No boats had gone out the previous day because of a storm, but they went out on our day despite the 10ft seas and strong westerly wind. Captain Jamie...More

I cannot write enough good things about Paul Devane and our trips around and to Skellig Michael. My granddaughter and I took both the eco-tour and the landing tour. Paul Devane does his best to be accommodating. We were on a lot of waiting lists...More

We took the Eco tour around the Skellig Islands with Jim Whelan as our skipper. Weather was great. Water was a little choppy but not rough. The tour was amazing and the skipper gave us a ton of great info and background on the islands....More

Had an amazing trip to the Skelligs Island (Landing Tour), very lucky with the weather, sunny and warm! It really is a must-do experience at least once in a lifetime. Rough see but it wasn't a major issue, no one on the boat seemed to...More

Nealie Lyne was our boatman for our trip to the Skelligs. We made reservations in February for our trip on May 28. My suggestion is email months in advance, email a week before your trip to confirm, and then call/email the day before for the...More

Very comfortable trip out on the boat to Skellig Michael & stopped near Skellig Beag to see birds & take pics. Climbed the 600 or so narrow steps to the monastery & it was very impressive. We had plenty of time to look around &...More

An early morning drive out on the Ivereagh peninsula (designed to avoid the barrage of tour buses later in the morning) brought us to Portmagee by 9:30am as boats were filling with passengers for the Skellig Islands, a Unesco Heritage Site. We sat, sharing a...More

It's an hour and a half boat ride out to the island. If you get motion sick, you'll definitely want to bring medicine to combat that. They give you two bits of information on the way out, and then drop you on the island. There,...More

Paul Devane was by far the easiest to book with out of all of the tours. They don't require you to stay in a hotel or jump through hoops. It's a straightforward online process. The port was very crowded and confusing, but their operation was...More
