These castle ruins are interesting architecturally, however, the available 'tour' is somewhat lacking. Very close to Landstuhl, however so worth the drive up the hill/mountain.

These ruins provide a lovely view of Landstuhl and the area below. I understand they offer concerts and plays during the summer months.

Fun place to take company nearby... they even have concerts and activities here! Neat venue for an American! The restaurant next to it has excellent home made soups and food!

Good example of history, sits above the town, there is a little snack bar/beer garden on site as well.

Local attraction is remains of old castle. Overlooks Landstuhl, with great views both day and night. Easily driven to, but also a nice hike up a trail for those so inclined. Simple but good restaurant located at the top of the hill.

It was a nice time, learn about the Castle and its history. People were very friendly and provided a lot of information. You can also enjoy the view of Landstuhl from the restaurant, the restaurant closes during winter time. It was a great time!!!

The food is fresh, tasty and the fried cheese dish is delicious. I had my traditional German meal with a nice glass of white wine. There is outdoor or indoor dining option. The ambiance is really nice for a couple or if you decide to...More

Being in Germany all of one week I decided to check out the this castle. It cost 3€ to enter but worth it as it helps defray the costs of maintenance for the castle. I was able to take a lot of pictures with my...More
