A lovely old belfry tower in the centre of the town. Lit up in the evenings and plays numerous sounds from many different bells of varying sizes every 15 minutes !

I was unable to enter this tower, but it was lovely to view the design and surroundings. The fountain nearby is lovely with playful jets of water and coloured pools. Fun.

The square is excellent and was set up for the Christmas Market and looked beautiful in the evening . Well worth a visit as there are many shops around the square

Hard to think that the buildings in this square were all re-built in the 1920s after the town was destroyed in WWI. The who place has that 1700s feel to it. Its beautiful, quaint and interesting all at the same time

You can only go in with a tourist office guide so go to the tourist office and pay the 4 euros 20 for a one hour tour of the Grand Place and a trip up the belfry. Very interesting and a lovely old belfry.
