Ok so this is an historic fort of reasonable magnitude converted into an hotel. It has great character and some of the rooms are excellent. There were four of us travelling and with two older teenagers we had booked two rooms for our one night...More

While touring the Sedan-Stonn area, another couple recommended the Museum at the Chateau Fort in Sedan. The fort itself does not live up to the hype of being the largest medieval fortress in Europe. The accommodations are well appointed but the value per price is...More

From Brussels Zaventem airport, it takes about 2 hours to reach Sedan. The city is a nice example of urban development during the Renaissance period. It is hard to imagine that this massive building was set up at the same time when the delicate French...More

Went here on a Sunday so not very busy, excellent mornings visit with exhibits well laid out and information supplied in English. Plenty of stairs to negotiate but well worth while, nice souvenir shop and café. Plenty of parking

The entrance was somewhat difficult to find, as it is not signed at all and is not at the banners that seem to indicate an entrance, but only lead to a locked door. Go to the left from the parking lot, once you find it,...More

We visited this hotel for one night as a group (of five couples) on a battlefield tour in October 2016. The hotel is very impressive and a very comfortable place to stay. I had stayed here before and we opted for the 'senior suites' but...More
