The only reason to come to Semporna is Sipadan and the only way to guarantee daily passes for Sipadan National Park is to stay on the Celebes Explorer. Diving in Mabul is very poor in comparison and Sipadan town is horrible. If you stay in...More

I know the boat is not the best but if you want to dive Sipadan every day as opposed to the very average Mabul it's your only choice. Boat aside the service on the Celebes is fantastic. The diving is efficient and the food very...More

Amazing diving experience in Sipadan, unfortunately the experience was ruined by the accommodation. DO NOT go on Celebes Explorer LOB if you're looking to go to Sipadan.... the boat is badly in need of repair and is not safe. They have been saying for years...More

Sipadan's reputation is well deserved. Big fish, turtles, schools of barracuda and jacks, sharks... Sipadan always impresses no matter how many times you dive it. Barracuda Point is a favourite and the only dive that isn't a wall dive. Most people miss the great macro...More

Amazing divsite, and fantastic beach. Now I have been there three times this time in september 2017 the visibility was not so good but the dive was still worth it.

Rarely I've seen such a preserved island. Very difficult to have a dive permit but i wouldn't advise to go there without visiting Sipadan

Dived Barracuda Point for almost seven times in a week but I am still amazed by the wonder of nature every time I see the schools of barracuda / jackfish. And of course, turtles and sharks (mostly white-tip).

Yes. But you wont get the full experience of Sipadan. And you will probably leave wondering what the fuss was all about. Sipadan is truly wonderful in the deep, not the shallow.

diving on Sipadan is for experienced divers with license, for sure you can't do any fishing, that's why it is National Park!
