for me sipadan island the best place to dive and to do snorkeling if you plan to enjoy your holiday at Semporna. The sea is so clean and so crystal clear. You can see the bottom about 7 meters deep from the surface.

Most importantly is to stay at reputable accommodation whereby they have good dive masters who would be able to guide you.

No news is probably good news. I was in Sipadan in December 2017 and all was calm. Certainly there havent been any reports in the Malaysian news regarding any safety concerns in that region. Enjoy your trip and the amazing... More
