Other one is Mahabaleshwar where the upper parabola is consisting of o many flake erruptions. If one can see the bare... More

As the name suggest, its a religious place. Temple building is quite old. It lies in old mahabaleshwar. Instead of usual standing shivling, here shivling is in rudraksh shape.

We visited this in the period of heavy rains and fog. It was so peaceful inside. This is a must see in Mahabaleshwar. I had not known the story behind this temple being established, Along with these, Panch ganga temple and Krushnai temples are also worth a visit, especially the latter, which is not so common.

You'll have to ride past the city to the old city and the roads are just marvellous. Just riding through them will make you feel so peaceful. The temple holds a Shivling and sits atop a small hill with beautiful surroundings. I've put in detail my trip over here, hope you'll love it: https://www.tripoto.com/trip/mahabaleshwar-divus-2844

A must see when you are here. Don't miss the Krishna river origin which is a short walk from the parking area. All the temples are well maintained and very clean. Don't forget to buy farm fresh strawberries.

This is very old temple in Mahabaleshwar and major attraction point here. Temple is quite old and there are proper rallying to maintain queue during tourist season. When you enter the temple you can experience devine peace. The only suggestion is that management should display history and importance of the temple at entrance or other visible place so tourist can... More
