Tranquil and great views. Good place to stop and have a look at the Monument.Loads of carking for cars and buses.

In a commanding position at the top of a hill the monument has a really powerful presence. Nearby is a small garden of remembrance with some heart wrenching stories.

This is a beautiful and moving memorial, that is located in a beautiful spot, which is wonderful view of some of the highest peaks of Scotland (on a clear day). The monument is easily reached by car, and there is ample parking available.

The monument has very easy access and good parking for cars, vans and coaches. We visited the monument a few years ago and since then it has been improved with the addition of a Garden for Tributes where family and friends can leave items of...More

Taking a look at the scenery around the Commando Monument makes you realise just how awful the training must have been. I have been there several times and although the sun is shining, when you get out of the car, the wind hits you. And...More

Amazing views from the memorial. A lovely garden of remembrance, with photos and momentos. Very popular place to visit but well worth spending some time there. Parking available next to the monument.

This is in a lovely spot and it has a memorial garden for fallen forces personnel. It was very quiet the day were there so we were able to read all the memorials. Very sad especially the young ones.

What you can see are simply a statue and a memorial ground, but it make you feel sad and thankful. If you are on the street, you should stop here for some minutes.

A sobering reminder to all those that gave their lives for us all. Overlooking stunning scenery that itself is as hard as it is beautiful.

It' slightly uphill from the car park, but if she takes it slowly and has help she should be ok. Failing that, the monument is fully visible from the car park.
