Terrible Service from bar owner!!!
Have had a number of great nights here over the last 5 or so years but took a group of friends here last night to round off my leaving do. For the first time that I've ever been there the owner was serving behind the bar. Big mistake on his part as he apparently has no people skills. First he berated a couple of my friends for ordering their drinks twice when they only wanted one order (not so) and was less than gracious. Then when one of my friends asked him for a replacement drink because the ginger in it was so strong it made it undrinkable he replied 'if you want another drink you can pay for it' and at £8 a go for cocktails that are largely ice that wasn't going to happen, so eventually he made another one. Incidentally my mojito was dreadful as it was full of granulated sugar. He then got into another row with my friend and then told her she was barred and to leave the pub. In the meantime I had seen him speaking in a really nasty way to his two waitresses who were rushed off their feet, working really hard and served us in a very professional and friendly way. So now half of my party were at another pub in Broadstairs while the rest of the party finished their drinks. Not at all what I wanted and it spoiled what was otherwise a really wonderful evening. My advice to the owner is this - sort out your cocktail menu to make sure they taste as they should, give your waitresses a big thank you for their hard work and lastly stay in the kitchen rather than becoming so stressed that you are rude to your customers. If you do that your bar might be worth going to, but I won't know because I'll never be coming back and neither will any of the other 20 people who were with me.

Great G & Ts
We only stayed for drinks as were waiting for a booked dinner down the road, drinks which were fab, the food looked good and the place was busy. Will definitely go there for brunch next time we're in Broadstairs.

Great Cocktails
My wife and I stopped here for morning coffee and later on we had a couple of pre-dinner cocktails.

Very impressed overall, buzzing little place with good quality food and drink on offer.

The cocktails were properly done with no cheats or skimping on ingredients, made from scratch in front of you. You can certainly taste the difference and priced about right too.

Well done Peens, keep it up!

Great cocktails
Nibbling a on some olives we tried a selection of their cocktails from an extensive and interesting cocktail menu.
My favourite was the 'rose mojito,' with real rose petals, or the 'porn star' which is served in a Cosmo glass with a shot of prosecco on the side that you sip alternatively.

Cosy
A very cosy and welcoming bar. Good cliff top location and friendly staff.

Didn't eat here but enjoyed a very nice glass of prosecco.
