Lovely beach to stroll along with chalk cliffs and flint to be found everywhere. Quiet in autumn which was well appreciated.

This is a quieter bay than Viking Bay but just a step around the cliff from that beach. It has a slightly more rugged appearance and is good for a spot of beach-combing. Stone Bay is a short walk from the village centre and the pier and though it is less picturesque than Viking Bay and not as beautiful as the wildest Kingsgate and Botany it is a good compromise to see almost pristine white cliffs and rock pools

Beach experience on a sunny day was crowded and dated. The sea was reached through a mass or seaweed. rundown feel to the beach . Try somewhere else.

A very short stroll away from the town Centre is the great Stone Bay. I liked it better than Viking Bay in town. It is a very lovely beach, bigger than Viking, but also a lot more quiet. It is backed by a long array of colorful beach huts. It is mostly a family beach during daytime and gets more... More

It was worth coming to. Lifeguards are present and was not too crowded. We all had a great time there.

The beech was clean, a few small cafes etc, nothing big. It was a little tricky parking, a short walk later and you're walking down a lot of steps to the beech. But it... More
