About
An unforgettable day A visit to the Dolfinarium is an unforgettable day out for the whole family. Because how often do you get the chance to meet dolphins, take a close look at sea lions and touch sharks? Use all of your senses You can easily spend an entire day at Europe's largest marine mammal park. Take a stroll from the Dolfijnendelta (Dolphin Delta) – where newborn dolphins swim – to the Zeehondenzand (Seal Sand) where common seals live together with grey seals. Listen to the rowdy sea lions and see with your own eyes how enormous walruses are. At the Roggenrif (Ray Reef) you get to meet some smaller inhabitants of the North Sea. Sea bass, rainbow trout and anemones, for example. You can observe them closely and learn all about these interesting creatures. You can even touch the sharks and the rays. Eye to eye Of course you get to take a close look at our marine mammals. There are eleven unique shows in which the dolphins, sea lions and walruses show you their best moves. Be amazed and moved by their extraordinary appearance! Animal welfare first The Dolfinarium has been around for nearly fifty years. Over the years we have done a lot of research and made a significant contribution to the protection of the animals in the wild. Animal welfare has always been and will always be our top priority in our research. We take care of our marine animals with a lot of love, passion and respect. And it shows: the animals in Harderwijk grow (a lot) older than their congeners in the wild and every year many babies are born in our park. As the main sponsor of Stichting SOS Dolfijn we are proud that we are able to help increase the well-being of the animals.

Good day

Place where you can enjoy your day when you are pregnant 🤰🏻 without taking any risk like a attraction place But many shows close because it's the first day of opening after quarantine but overall it was great🐋🦈

Very nice

I always have double thoughts with a zoo but the passion and love for the animals can be seen in the persons working in the dolfinarium. Nice and educative shows. In the current periode with covid 19: enough space, 1,5 metres can be keept if you pay attention to it. A very nice combination of playygrounds and animals.

very disappointing
Jun 2020 • Family
such a disappointment is all i can say. the shows are nice but not spectacular which would be fine as we shouldn't push for more entertainment coming from the animals themselves , but there is pretty much nothing else to check out..i was expecting more large aquariums with maybe different varieties of fish but the only area where we could see the walruses and dolphins underwater was extremely dirty and really hard to see anything through.
finally although out of the corona crisis confinement, almost all of the food shacks were closed and looked extremely run down ...
i was waiting around every corners to find something interedting to see or learn but nothing came..they should seriously consider closing down for making a massive update...

Fun aquarium

Fun aquarium to see. The shows were also good. It was interesting to see an aquatic park somewhere besides the USA and how they operated.

Take a trip to the dolfinarium
Jul 2019 • Family
I would reccomend a teip to the dolfinarium if you rant to see sealions, dolphins etc. We especially like the show /teatre with the sealions. Even though We dont understand dutch, the show was funny, and the Kids loved it. Dont go on a day with lightning and thunderstorms, then they cancel some of the openair shows.

We also enjoyed the underground cafe were We felt like We was inside the pool :)

Great day with animal sighting

The dolfinarium is a niceplace to have fun with little kids. The main dolfin show is awesome and there is one more little show that is worth the visit. The others are very little and simple. Is a nice park with playgrounds for the kids and restaurants.

Great day spent with the kids
Sep 2019 • Family
We went to the dolphinarium having seen it advertised at the centre parcs we were staying at. It seemed like a nice place to spend a few hours, however we ended up spending the over 5 hours as there was plenty to see and do. We even didn’t get round to see the whole park although we were with very young children and so everything takes longer than usual. We loved the shows which were fun and a decent length, although some information in English would be helpful. The play parks throughout the park were great.
Really enjoyed our visit and would come back again. The town of Hardervijck was also nice to walk around once the park had closed.

A very nice place to spend a free day
Aug 2019 • Family
Harderwijk is a very nice place with and without the Dolfinarium, and a tip for you- there’s a gas station which is very cheap if you need fuel.
To the Dolfinarium it’s a very nice place, all facilities are for adults and for children. Very nice place, and be careful not to sit in the first rows, when you see the dolphins show.... otherwise you’ll get a free shower. Be sure to see all animals there, it will take approximately half a day to spend there and you surely won’t be disappointed

A nice show, nothing speciel
Aug 2019
The park is nice. There are different shows at different times. Some shows are in standing, so it is difficult to see especially with kids. It is a nice attraction., but a must. It is not close to the shows in the US or other big places like this. If you have time, it is nice. Not cheap though.

Good show but needs an upgrade.
Aug 2019 • Family
The shows are very entertaining and informative. Brilliant for children. It was a good few hours of fun, we spent just over 3hrs here. I would say plan for 4hrs which you could easily do without getting board any longer then you might. It’s a bit run down which is a shame, if we ever did return would be nice to see some improvements.
