Myself, my wife and my three kids hired bikes from Willie and he could not be more helpful. They were delivered to Casey's Caravan Park in Clonea in the morning and picked up again the following morning at a very competitive rate (€50). High visibility vests, helmets, locks, first aid kit and puncture repair kit were all provided. Great attention was taken to ensure all of us got the correct size bike and adjustments were made by Willie himself. The new Deise Greenway is amazing and Willie gave us some excellent tips and suggestions for planning our route. We cycled from Clonea to Dungarvan along a causeway and also went east of Clonea which is also gorgeous. The cycle paths are created along an old railway line and are safe, traffic free and take in spectacular views of the West Waterford coastline. There is an amazing viaduct and a 600m tunnel which our kids found awsome. The paths are mostly flat with the odd gentle incline. A top tip is to pay a visit to O'Mahony's pub at the other side of the tunnel (30 mins cycle from Dungarvan approx), it is an authentic traditional irish pub selling Guinness by the bottle and both the owner and patrons provided us with a heart felt welcome and great conversation. I would highly recommend Lismore cycling holidays and the new Deise Greenway.

Just brilliant! Met the owner at his home and picked up a bike after ringing last minute. He even let me park my car at his house for the morning!! Bike was excellent, came with bag, lock, helmet, etc etc all for €10!

So impressed with Willie and bicycle service he runs. Catered for us at very short notice for myself, hubby and three kids! Came complete with high viz jackets, first aid kits, helmets, puncture repair kits, etc.....even gadgets for putting around the ends of flared trousers (which it turned out this non-professional cyclist definitely needed!!!!!). Had the bikes for a day and a half and was only charged €40 because it rained the second day. We told him we had still used them but he said he wouldn't charge coz it was so wet!!!! Wonderful man! Wonderful business! Cannot recommend highly enough!!!!

With little notice Willie put together an amazing seven day solo trip from Waterford ending in Kilkenny. This was a great trip that was well worth the money spent. The bike was in great shape and Willie's service was professional, thorough, accommodating and friendly. The accommodations were all top notch and full of character. I especially loved cycling along the rural roads in the country and along the coast. The information Willie provided about the route was top notch, as was the information he supplied about landmarks along the way. I advised Willie I wanted to ride distances of about 60 km a day, and this was exactly what he organised for me. I plan to go back in two years with my wife and use Lismore Cycling again. I would highly recommend cycling in Ireland and hiring Lismore Cycling Holidays. Thank you Willie for a great trip!

Excellent cycling tour in Ireland.
We just returned back from the 5 day Heritage bike tour in July. Even with a little bit of rain, It was an absolute delight the entire trip. The owner, Willie, had everything arranged for us when we arrived. He had maps, directions and all the gear we required, bikes, helmets, jackets, first aid, etc. The bikes were very comfortable to ride.
We mainly cycled on the back roads, which was very nice to see the local areas of Ireland. Willie included all the "points of interest" to visit; castles, churches, caves, and we were able to walk around at our leisure to enjoy any or all of them. We bought an OPW Heritage card at our first castle stop, which then included most of our future entrance fees at various sites.
Willie was never far away to ensure that we were on the correct roads and point out interesting facts of the area. At the end of the day, it was such a treat to have all of our luggage setup at the next hotel we were staying at. All of our B&B stays were great.....clean, very hospitable and meals were fantastic.
This was one of the best trips the 2 of us have had. We would definitely recommend this trip for anyone looking to cycle in Ireland and enjoy seeing new sites each of the 5 days. Thanks Willie for a great trip and memories we'll have forever.

Great service - bikes dropped to our hotel at 8.30am and picked up that evening at 5.30. Would definitely recommend. We asked for 2 child seats on the bike which was no problem. The bikes are excellent and very well maintained.

My husband Tony and I recently returned from the West Waterford - South Tipperary cycling break. Everything was organised for us by Willie Hogan from the bikes to the maps to the overnight accommodation. We had a really great experience cycling off ourselves. Willie made sure that we had everything we needed before we set off on our first day and checked in with us each morning to discuss the route for the day and to bring our bags to the next B&B. I would highly recommend this short break. Completely stress free, beautiful countryside that we didn't realize existed, really friendly people along the way and great variety. This is the best mini break that we've ever had and you don't need to be a cycling pro to get from A to B. Even though it is a short break, we really felt the benefit of getting away from it all and enjoying the best of the Irish countryside. We're already planning our next cycling break. Many thanks again Willie.
