Two couples joined a group of about 8 others for a wine tasting and tour with Giacomo in October. We had made a reservation but didn't expect such a sumptuous experience. Giacomo is so very passionate and personal about his wines and his winery and generous with his time-- A true artist! We purposely chose Podere Il Cocco because it... More

We had an appointment at 11:30 and arrived on time. Giacomo came in to say hi and that 6 others will be joining us. His younger brother attended us while we waited. We all joined together for the wonderful tour and history of IL Cocco, along with a 101 class on the differences between Table Wine, IGT, DOC, and DOCG.... More

We enjoyed our visit to Podere Il Cocco so much we returned a few days later. Giacomo is so passionate about the vineyard and every part of making the wine. Stephano was gracious and helpful. We will return.

My family and I booked a tour and lunch at Il Coco in October. We enjoyed it so much! Giacomo was so knowledgeable and friendly. The tour was wonderful and the wines were delicious. We ended up ordering a few bottles of their Brunello wine (can't wait until it gets here!) After the tour, Stefano prepared an amazing lunch for... More

We were here with some friends and family for a wonderful lunch and winery tour in August. These guys are the real deal. Passionate about wine and food, they are eager to share their passion with their guests. The food was so delicious, the wine was great, and the 3 brothers were all extremely hospitable and welcoming. We purchased wine... More

We travel to Italy once a year and are happy to share this find of a winery. The three brothers who run this winery are passionate about their products. They are self taught, hard working individuals who are making fabulous wines. We had a wonderful tour and educational lecture from Giacomo. Stefano prepared a fabulous lunch complete with wines and... More

You have to meet Giacomo and his brother. He is a small producer with an excellent line up, especially Brunello. He explains the srrict standards needed to produce and label high quality wine. He walks through the vineyard and generously shares his knowledge. He lets you experience the instrument he uses to measure the sugar content in his wonderful grapes,... More

Giacomo delivered a very personal, interesting and educational wine tasting session. Great to see how fully invested the whole family are in making the best possible quality wine they can. It was an opportunity to buy wine rather than a sell. We ordered some wine to be delivered in the UK. This arrived promptly and extremely well packed. We would... More

My boyfriend and I have done Sonoma and Napa, and we can honestly say that our tasting and tour with Giacomo, the winemaker, and lunch with Stefano, were unparalleled. We were their only reservation that day, and were amazed at the time and care that Giacomo took with the two of us given all his responsibilities on the farm (he... More

We wandered into this agritourismo hoping to get a wine tasting and lunch after another family recommended this vineyard. When we pulled up we were not sure about this place! it was unpretentious to say the least. We did not have a reservation, but were warmly greeted by one of three brothers. Unfortunately they were booked for a tour so we... More
