In the main restored rooms of the upper floor,... More

This is a lovely historical location, with winding network of small streets with lots of different shops, restaurants, quaint b&bs and other histiric buildings. It can be busy during the day but is a definite toyrist attraction to visit.

we had a great time walking around the castle while visiting it in a low season, there was nobody exept for us ;) beautiful building, makes you think what technology they used and how many things should know to build such a palace, which is still standing here - so many details had to be counted, so many things to... There are a few different exhibitions to look around. If Greek history is something that interests you then you will enjoy the visit. Worth a visit if you are... More

Interesting place to visit with well preserved exhibits well displayed but restoration obviously not authentic - mixture of styles. Archeological museum much better to see authentic architecture.

We spent several hours here and fell in love with the place. It's full of narrow little streets cobbled in the traditional patterns and styles of Rhodes island. There are lots of restaurants and shops selling artisan crafts and local products / you are literally spoiled for choice. It's best to park by the harbour (if you're lucky you may... More
