We love Perissa, and come back every 2 years :) Lovely restaurants and has a perfect nightlife for us.

The beach was excellent, nicely laid out bed areas that were well maintained and the restraunt/cafe that controlled each area ensured that food and drink could be obtained without the need to leave the beach or your bed.

Our first time on black sand. The beach is well served with sun loungers and service. Once you become a customer of the bar that owns the particular loungers you are using they are free for the day. You will need your own towels and...More

Beautiful beach. Nice pumice sand. The water is a little cold but a lot of fun. Beautiful walks on the pumice. Great for your feet. Wonderful place for families.

Beach is lined with shops, restaurants, bars and hotels. The start to the beach is at the church (picture attached) and goes on for miles! I was told the price of the hotel goes up as you go down the beach away from the church....More

lots of restaurants, bars, lounges; sea-doo, para-sailing, kayaking; day and night entertainment, free beach chairs and umbrellas in front of every restaurant; go for local food favorites and Alpha beer :)

Sea shelves steeply away, but very clean after and beach. Bonus of free sun loungers with no requirement to buy expensive drinks. Open feel which can benefit from a breeze.

Great loooong beach with lots of restaurants and bars. Quite crowded so if you want more privacy go somewhere else :) Great to see that staff on bars and restaurants arn't too pushy as in many many other Greek islands.

Nice to walk about and just watch everything. Lots of bars and cafes and the usual share of shops. Very pleasant to walk the entire length which takes about an hour. Very enjoyable ..

Hi, I am visiting Santorini next week and would like to know about bathing beaches which are safe to splash around in with the kids. Is it possible to splash around in the water at the Perissa beach. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks
