You know when you walk around a place, which when you walk around, makes you feel so good that your heart swells? Well this was such a place for me. Recommended by our camping, and for the love of our kids, we came. Expecting not much, we were enthralled. It's how everyone should see nature - the scenery was magical.... More

An excellent animal park which offers an opportunity to see indigenous animals in a natural environment. It's a bit of a scramble in places over rocky paths but the kids loved it, particularly the enclosures you could walk thorough and get up close to the animals.

This is a really nice park to visit to see the animals that live in the Pyrenees in semi-natural surroundings. Although they are in enclosures, the areas are very similar to the areas they live in in the wild and are very large. There is a lot of walking over steep and rocky terrain even on the shorter path whilst... More

extraordinary park on outskirts of Les Angles - fabulous opportunity to get in close to animals. if you're lucky you'll get to see some of them being fed too.

This is a very special kind of zoo. Firstly the animals were in their natural habitat in large enough enclosures to be completely at home and happily breeding. The three bear cubs were just extraordinary and their wonderful mum! The little marmotte popped up from his burrow and he was looking at us and we were looking at him! Then... More

The place is nice, with nature paths but I thought the animals would be semi-wild, which is not the case here. It is like a zoo although their space is much bigger. Nice for kids. I would recommend the longest itinerary since you can see more of the animals. Bring some food and water with you as you cannot buy... More

Took our two grandchildren here.A great time had by all. Luckily we saw all the animals. Plenty of picnic tables and other seats around.

We went here in the middle of winter, but still saw lots of animals - there were hardly any people at all. It's a good few hours' walk so great exercise for older kids, but for small children I would recommend bringing snacks and taking rests.

What a great park!. We arrived around 10:30, which is feeding time. All the animals were active and being fed, and the park staff allow kids to enter the enclosures and feed the animals where possible. The enclosures are quite large and not over-crowded for the animals, and the viewing areas are very close. Probably the most enjoyable zoo experience... More

This Zoo is small but it is a very interesting zoo as it presents animals which live or used to live in the Pyrenee mountains. Visitors walk on a nature foot-path that snakes in & out of animal enclosures, and in most sectors of the zoo, the visitors are allowed to mingle with the zoo's tame animals, but the wild... More
