DRIVING FROM PENONOME TO EL VALLE ....ROAD CONDITIONS We will be driving early morning in the last week of January heading directly to the El Valle Mountain Tour office Located in the center of El Valle de Anton, right behind the Pekin Supermarket. We are Aiming to arrive there by 1 pm. We are coming from Playa Venao/Pedasi ...which looks like a 4-5 hour drive depending on traffic...which route.... etc.. But what I want to know about is the road from PENONOME to El Valle.... on my map it appears that the road is fine until you reach Churuquita Chiquita.....continuing on from there the road looks less friendly heading towards Membrillo............ and thereafter there is a dotted line on my map for the roadway leading to El Valle.... We are driving an all wheel drive full size Suv..... could you please ask around if anyone you know of has taken this route to get from PENONOME to El Valle ......is this a safe route and what are the roads like... especially between.... Churuquita Chiquita and Membrillo and from Membrillo to El Valle. The typical route has no road problems from Pedasi to El Valle. They are very clean. Playa Venao/Pedasi to El Valle : 3h30. Follow Chitre,Divisa,Penonome. Then after passing Penonomé 45 minutes / 1 hour ,after you will have a sign on your left heading to the town of Las Uvas. At that moment you exit the Pan-American and you go directly north 28 km to El Valle. WE are already aware of the typical route but the passage from Penonome to el Valle looks shorter and could be more interesting to drive . Can anyone please help? Cheers Joey
