There is no difference if you come here on a Sunday or any other day. Maybe some more people selling plants but the vegetable and trinket sellers are here every day. Not really a main attraction. Next to the tourist office.

Although we did not go on a Sunday, more venders and artisans contribute to the local market! Their work is absolutely beautiful, and I purchased two handmade Molas! I definitely recommend going to this market during the weekend.

This is a local market with lots of crafts and plenty of produce from the valley. It is split between produce and other food items that locals come to buy and booths with crafts and tourist items to purchase. You can also get these craft...More

I had some time to kill on Sunday afternoon so I walked here from Casco Viejo (a short walk - 10-15 minutes). The setup was interesting, but I really didn't see a variety of food stalls. Worth a look. It was recommended to me by...More

it is a busy place, be prepared to jump at the first parking spot you see. It was the best place to find gifts for everyone in my list - all items sold made by locals, no Made in China labels. The prices are not...More

It is called Sunday Market and we were dropped there by the travel agency on a Monday. There is nothing to see unless you need to buy some vegetables or fruits. Don't know how it is on Sundays though.

Excellent fruit and vegetables for sale, plus booths with local crafts, arts, and clothing. We felt safe browsing and bartering for items. Vendors were friendly, with limited English. Many items seemed to be made by Panamanians in Panama. A recommended visit if you are in...More

Great selection of souvenirs and fruit. Souvenirs range from little bracelets to painted feathers/plates to switch blades and hats and shirts. Vendors usually start off high but quickly drop the prices and you can try to haggle to get a better deal. The market is...More
