A cute 'local market' (open more than Sunday's)

Excellent fruit and vegetables for sale, plus booths with local crafts, arts, and clothing. We felt safe browsing and bartering for items. Vendors were friendly, with limited... read more

We have a home in the beach community of Coronado, and it is always a pleasure to break away from the heat by taking a 30 minute drive to El Valle...

it is a busy place, be prepared to jump at the first parking spot you see. It was the best place to find gifts for everyone in my list - all items sold made by locals, no Made in China labels. The prices are not cheap, be prepare to ask for discounts, they are not guarantied though. Nobody speaks English... More

It is called Sunday Market and we were dropped there by the travel agency on a Monday. There is nothing to see unless you need to buy some vegetables or fruits. Don't know how it is on Sundays though.

Excellent fruit and vegetables for sale, plus booths with local crafts, arts, and clothing. We felt safe browsing and bartering for items. Vendors were friendly, with limited English. Many items seemed to be made by Panamanians in Panama. A recommended visit if you are in the area. We visited on Saturday and all the booths were open.

Great selection of souvenirs and fruit. Souvenirs range from little bracelets to painted feathers/plates to switch blades and hats and shirts. Vendors usually start off high but quickly drop the prices and you can try to haggle to get a better deal. The market is open seven days a week.

We went on a Wednesday, found some great fruits and vegetables! Carved soap stones, jewelry, you name it. We had a tour guide with us Luis Pinto (contact him through whatsapp +507 6732 5221 you won't be disappointed) he made it easy to communicate with the vendors. He knew so much about the place, and all the different places to... More

Nice market but I might be partial since I enjoy markets in general. Good spot to buy fruit and vegetable as well as craft.

Nice little market with produce and knick knacks. Lots of hammocks, handmade jewelry, some snacks. Wood platters and bowls looked nice, but expensive.

A very interesting place to find fresh fruits and vegetables that are cultivated by the locals, as well as beautiful plants and flowers of the country. You can also find souvenirs, snacks and much more at this nice and warm spot. This is the first stop you can do when you go to the town and provide yourself with food... More

Great to see the local crafts and a little of the real Panama experience. Great souvenirs at reasonable prices!
