Everyone should try the Ogishi glass blowing experience. Blowing glass is once in a lifetime experience. Very talented and helpful staff take you through all the steps on a dry run and then assist you to mould a piece off molten glass in a creation of your chioce and color. And a couple of days later you can pick it... More

As we visited over a weekend of 47deg C, we were not fortunate to see Setsuko working with the furnace. However we were able to view her amazing and creative works at the craft centre. It was also lovely chatting with her husband Yutaka and understanding what goes in to make these beautiful glass works. We hope in the future... More

Had such an awesome experience making our glass works. My partner and I have always been interested in trying glass blowing and was a great learning experience! The artist has a display room were she keeps all her work, worth having a look at and a great gift idea for loved ones :)

My son and I did a glass blowing class. It won't disappoint. We felt very safe with expert instruction. With only two in a class it's very personalized. It's exciting and fun. Thanks to Setsuko and her husband Yukata.

My sister & I had a fantastic glassblowing experience today. Setsuko & her husband Yutaka were so friendly and professional. We were made to feel safe & looked after throughout the entire 'mind blowing' session! We would highly recommend this experience & look forward to showing off our gorgeous glassworks.

DH would have loved to have gone to one of their craft workshops but timing didn't work. Lovely original glassware but too pricey for us.

We were given a voucher by our son for a combined glass lesson. We procrastinated about booking, but bit the bullet and did the deed. When we arrived we were greeted by the wonderful proprietors and the instruction started immediately. Trying to understand the procedures was a bit overwhelming, but it all dropped into place when we started to actually... More

Very roomy cottage, with the owners lovely artwork. Received a delightful starter hamper with muesli, milk, fruit and a wonderful freshly baked loaf of bread, some butter and jams, together with some yummy handmade (on the premises by the owner). The kitchen is well equipped, best is the coffee machine. Bed was very comfortable, generous wardrobe space and spotless well... More
