We took a day trip with Willy from IDP in December, a full day hike to Nevado Huaytapallana to enjoy the scenery and see the glacier. It was a fantastic trip and Willy is an excellent guide. The day was tiring for us, but Willy was very patient. Our daughter is 12 and managed fine, so it's a good trip... More

The highlight of the trip was definitely the horseback ride up to the Nevado de Huaytapallana. Lucho organized this excursion for us -- he picked us up from the train, delivered us to our hotel (El Presidente) and had a driver pick us up early the next morning. He even arranged for us to have a pizza lunch since I... More

We did the artisan circuit with Lucho and it was brilliant. Lucho impressed me immediately when he told us - 'I understand what tourists want and try to give it to them'. So often in Peru, there seems to be little understanding of this. We booked at short notice - e-mail communication was smooth - and we were able to... More

We took their 4 day tour from Lima to Huancayo on "the Historical Highest Train in the World" in October, 2013. It was a fantastic trip. Day 1 is a train ride over the Andes (nearly 16,000 feet high); days 2 and 3 are tours of the Mantara Valley around Huancayo; and day 4 is a return train to Lima.... More

This school was great! I took 4 weeks of semi-private, pre-intermediate (3 person class size) lessons, and I could definitely see an improvement in my comprehension skills. I would recommend this school to anyone at any level who wishes to improve their spanish and to have fun while doing it. The school truly creates a family atmosphere, and I'm sad... More

I took 2 weeks of spanish lessons in Lima. I learned vocabulary, greetings and about peruvian culture, my teacher talks with me about Peru and the traditions. The school is near to Plaza Mayor and around the attractions of Lima Centre. About the price is cheap only $15.00 USDollars per hours but you can ask for discounts for students. We... More

We spent a day with our Incas del Peru Guide Braulio for a fun and informative look at the Mantaro Valley. The Artesan Circuit trip took us to the Park de la Identitad, Cochas, Hualhuas, San Jeronimo, lunch near a trout farm, and the Ocopa Monastery. We had considered attempting to find our own transportation and wander around each village,... More

My own experience of Incas del Peru was just great. I used it to book a return trip on the Railway in the Sky from Lima to Huancayo and I took out a 3-day tourist package run by Luis ('Lucho') Hurtado. The package included the hotel booking, and the Turismo hotel booked for me by Lucho was better than most... More
