The lagoon is wonderful and extremely refreshing. Heat in the are is a challenge So a visit to the lagoon is appreciated. There is a small fee to pay once in the lagoon, not included with trip. There aren't clean restrooms and the places needs...More

It could be better. Very busy and a bit unorganized to enjoy. Nice boat trip but negotiating the price can be a headache.

I visited Yalahau Lagoon as part of a larger boat excursion - the 3 Island Tour out of Holbox Island. The lagoon is very pretty and refreshing. It seemed popular with families who were picnicking and enjoying a break from the heat.

Was really nice the experience as we came on this "classic" tour and 40 minutes is more than enough to jump into the water and refresh yourself.

The tour is by boat so unless you have a boat I would think tour is the best way to go- only 20-30$ USD per person. Think I paid $800 pesos for the 2 of us. You can sign up for the tour in el centro de holbox - there are... More
