This is really a lovely hike. It is quite easy to get to the top using the normal route, but there are dozens of other trails, some of which hidden, once you get there to go behind the temple and up other mountains. There will...More

The ruins themselves are not really interesting, but it is a nice hike to get there. Bring water and be ready! You will be able to see some wild life and humans feeding them despite the sign telling you not to.

Climbed to pyramid on 29th January. Took water and wore strong shoes after reading reviews here. Well worth the effort felt we earned our meal and drink after

Great view! The hike is tough for someone who is not used to it! Bring water and protect your food from the lil animals at the top !

This hike is a real slog over rough terrain, so go in the morning and take water. The pyramid isn't as interesting as the ones on the Yucatan peninsula or near Oaxaca city or the one north of Mexico City but it's still decent to...More

Great views, take water, be patient if you go on the weekend, about an hour to get to the temple. The town below is quaint and cultureful, try the pulque.

It’s about an hour hike for those in ok shape. It’s steep, so walk slowly. Really wise to bring enough water, good shoes and some chocolate. The view at the top is amazing. And the pyramid at the top reminds you of agent time. It’s...More

The hike up from town is a bit of a butt kicker but it's absolutely worth it. It's not a hike... its 1200 vertical feet of steps but not steps, mostly rocks. Still, you go through all that effort - took an hour with kids...More

What a sight to see from the city itself and while taking the hike to the pyramid. Unfortunately, due to the recent earthquake, the pyramid is closed. However, you can still hike to it.

You might find a private guide in Cuernavaca, at any Spanish language school, there is no special tour for the area. Actually, it is not worth it, this attraction has more of a physical element and the enjoyment of nature... More

At the base of the trail up to the pyramid there was a restaurant which looked like it had lovely views. If I'd had more time before catching my bus back to Mexico City I would have tried there.
