what a lovely valley, very pretty town, people very friendly, we even did some salsa dancing. Visited a tobacco farm and wandered through the farms and town, great market too.

This UNESCO site has spectacular scenery. Traditional methods of agriculture are used to grow tobacco for cigars. Dome shaped limestone mogotes are scattered around the landscape. Caves are common throughout the area. Town of Vinales is pretty as well.

Our casa was on the main road and we could not stop commenting on how many horses trotted down the road while we were sitting on the front veranda. Many are pulling carts as horse are a real way of life in this area.Enjoyed our 3 hour horse tour of the valley - your casa will ring to get someone... More

Vinales Valley was hands down one of the most interesting places I saw in Cuba. Stunning views and tour, wonderful people and casas. I went on a 5 hour walking tour of the Valley and I will honestly say it was one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen - like Yosemite beautiful if you're American. The ride... More

The view from Los Jazmines is excellent. If you are not staying here then a trip to its lookout point is a must. he limestone Karsts are very reminiscent of Halong Bay, Vietnam, but without the sea and with more greenery. Among the karsts, or megotes, there is a lot to do.

We walked the valley with a guide. Just four of us including the guide. Relaxing walk with caves to visit and a small bar by the side of a lake where you could swim if you wished. We visited a small tobacco farm and a coffee plantation. Not to be missed.

The valley is very pretty. We found a place with Indians and a boat ride in a cave. A walk through the area is highly recommended.

The valley is lush and green. The local people were extremely friendly as we found in the rest of Cuba.

I stayed here for 3 nights. I arrived mid November, and thought I'd easily find a room in a casa, but it proved more difficult. Definitely pre book. The area is simply amazing. Beautiful walks into the tobacco fields. I found it easy to book a collective taxi (15 cuc return) to playa Jutias. Just ask around the main square... More

Cannot express how much I enjoyed my 3 days in Vinales - a small village in the historical lands of tobacco and enchanting greenery. Rocking chairs are a must in each single house. Coming from Haban was a bit of a shock to see all houses being available for rent and a few more tourists than expected (not even high... More
