My dad grew up around this area as a boy so whenever we visit, this is one of the beachy areas we visit. The beach is clean and quiet, with very few tourist, if any. This makes it a lot of fun as we aren't competing with the local folks trying to sell their goods.

Went in 2010. Near dusk, rough sea and almost no-one around. I went for a swim and bodysurf in to shore but unfortunately caught a large wave which I rode into shore and it dumped me in the shallows onto my head breaking the odontoid peg between no.1 and no.2 cervical verterbra. We had no phone reception so rescued by... More

This is a beautiful little beach. Very secluded. Dramatic sea views. Probably too rough to swim, but great for a picnic.

seemed potentially sketchy but was quiet and peaceful. That sad, also dirty and maybe a location where some live at night. Heard that some have been robbed there but we encountered nothing that was untoward.

Empty beach, calm surf, shade trees...and a policewoman on patrol to warn all visitors to stay near her due to multiple recent thefts. We had only towels to lose so we stayed and swam a long time. Calmer water than nearby Crane Beach.

We stayed within walking distance of this beach and absolutely loved going here. There were a couple locals at the beach each time we went but that was about it. Over all it was very isolated and secluded. There were no tourists, which we loved. Cattlewash was the only other beach we went to that had so few people.

Hard to get to, but worth the find. Nearly empty most of the time. Old world unspoiled Caribbean. Bring everything you need. Its secluded. Large waves. Lots of Palm trees.

Off the beaten track this is a lovely beach, white sand and terrific waves, need to be a strong swimmer for this one. There are plenty of shaded picnic sites. No amenities though but truly a lovely exprience.
