This is definitely one of the greatest postcard perfect areas of the island! As you arrive at a small rough parking area (you need to take some smaller residential areas to get here) you can see the waves hitting the shore and those beautiful palm...More

I had read so much about this beach there was no way we weren't going to visit. Stunning scenery, turquoise ocean and friendly locals who were informative and polite rather than overly pushy which made a change. Water too rough for us to swim in...More

Stunning beach backed by cliffs and palm trees. Very clean apart from the seaweed which gathers at certain times of year. Strong swimmers only ! The guys selling drinks at the tops of the cliff were very friendly and the drinks were delicious.

This beach has been my screensaver for 12 months. Very beautiful for photos. Sea good for body surfing not good for young swimmers strong current, little shade and lots of steps. Take your own towels to sit on very secluded

the waves are so rough that they make impossible to enjoy the beach.....better to stay on the Caribbean sea....

The view of Bottom Bay is THE quintessential photograph of Barbados. It is instantly recognisable and you are unbelievably likely to find you've the beach all to yourself!

Bottom Bay is absolutely breathtaking and gorgeous. We rented a car to explore Barbados and Bottom Bay was our first stop. Nobody else was there (other than two locals on top of the steps), which made it even more special. This is authentic and unspoiled...More

This beach is quite beautiful. Nice for a quiet picnic. The water is a little on the rough side so here might not be the place for small children or weak swimmers.

i would look into Sapphire Beach condos. We just stayed there and we know the owners of a few condos. Very safe, Guards on duty, gated. Nice restaurants very close. Feel free to ask me for more details.

Its a bit in the middle of nowhere so you need a car and there are no bars or restaurants near by. Being on the beach alone, although seemed safe, may be a little daunting for a lady alone, but the locals and beach sellers... More

Yes there is a bus that drops you off on the main road, however it's about a 10 minute walk to the beach. As someone mentioned before it's about a ten minute drive from Crane Beach to Bottom Bay. Hope this helps!
