Great views, rough water would not recommend going in even if you are strong swimmer. There is usually no one there, you may encounter perhaps one or 2 people in 3 hour span.

According to the locals this is their favourite beach in Barbados. It didn't look like a swimming beach with the huge waves and the look of undertow. You would definitely want to be an experienced swimmer here. Beautiful spot though but would recommend a different beach to swim to cool off.

Barbados is a beautiful island. If you like some surf with your sand and sun, Harrismith is highly recommended as is Bottom Bay. Paradise!

We couldn't find it at first and our GPS wasn't particularly useful. But of course we got there eventually. My tip is to aim for Apple Hall and then look for signs to the beach and drive towards the coastline. There are a few rather steep steps all the way down to the Bottom Bay. The view is spectacular. I... More

No good for swimming, don't even try it, but spend a morning or afternoon here and you will probably be the only one on the beach. You might even recognise the place from numerous travel campaigns as this beach has featured on many catalogue covers, adverts and TV adverts. A bit tricky to find, but head for Sam Lords Castle,... Beautiful view from the carpark (if you manage to find it). Probably too windy to spend too long down on the sand and the water a no-no.

We were so excited to finally find our way to Bottom Bay. It is a little tricky to find, but with the help of GPS we finally made it. Truly a beautiful place to visit in Barbados.

We frequently come to Barbados to visit relatives. We like to stay in different places on the island and this visit we rented a lovely villa in the Atlantic Rising subdivision called CouCou. It was a very nice home and the booking process via Flipkey was seamless. The subdivision is steps from the entry point of the lovely Bottom Bay.... More

This beach is an absolutely superb location and one if not the best beach in the island. Really difficult to find but well worth the effort. Stunning view .

Armed only with a tourist map, Bottom Bay was very tricky to find, but when we arrived there were no regrets. It is a stunning location for a sunbathe and a picnic. The sea must be respected there. The waves were quite big on the day we visited, but once through it was great fun. Don't swim too far out... More
