Beautiful (deserted) beach, hidden behind high coral cliff formations, stunning coconut palm trees, battered by the winds. A must see beach - just for an hour or so - , the most easterly point on the island. Rough seas (not good to swim). Easy to reach by (rental) car.

Several Bajans told me that Bottom Bay is the most scenic beach in Barbados so we checked it out They weren't wrong! Breathtaking beach of fine sand backed by tall palms, few people on it, and big breakers hitting the beach. Certainly not a place to swim but you will not stop taking pictures The only thing we would say... More

This beach is nestled between cliffs on both sides with palm trees on the beach....looks like a post card. We just dropped in to see it in person after visiting Crane Beach ten minutes away. There are no amenities here other than a local selling drinks at the top of the stone steps by parking lot before going down to... More

Visited on a sunday afternoon, what a stunning place, beach is accessed but a flight of steps and a little note of caution this is definatly not suitable for people with walking difficulties, a lot of the wooden handrail is either broken or missing, but once you get down the steps what a beautiful beach, a few trees for shade... When you think of paradise, this beach is it. A short trip down a flight of wooden steps, brings you to this beautiful place. The beach was fairly quiet while we were there, only a few others. The waves are constant which makes it so peaceful. The rock formations and palm trees are amazing, and offer so many photo opportunities.... More

I sat on my deck chair, laughed with my wife, watched my Daughters play in the surf and felt truly at peace with the world. We had Bottom Bay all to ourselves and enjoyed every minute of it. Both of us agreed, despite not being the richest family in the world, I am sure that there were millions of people... More

Been coming here for ten years now and still loving it. No mosquitos and a constant cool breeze off the Atlantic.

Great views, rough water would not recommend going in even if you are strong swimmer. There is usually no one there, you may encounter perhaps one or 2 people in 3 hour span.
