Members are often heard to say: ‘Even if I am not having a good round I still enjoy the spectacular views and realise how lucky I am to be playing golf here.’ At East Devon Golf Club we extend a friendly welcome to members and visitors alike. Situated on the cliff top above Budleigh Salterton, at 6344 yards the well drained fairways, close cropped links turf and challenging greens offer a fair and interesting test of golf. Add to this, the views, colours and the stunning natural habitat and you have the ideal place to enjoy your golf. Thanks to excellent drainage the course is rarely closed due to adverse weather conditions and exceptional golf can be enjoyed all year round. Visit us and you won’t be disappointed.

We played this course with some friends, that are members. What a treat. Lovely course with terrific views of the coast line. The course is very challenging but rewarding. Excellent!

£37.50 with a County card was good value for this up and down cliff top course. Unusually heather abounds some holes and beware the sloping fairways but this is a really good test of golf off the white tees. Our 3 ball were on their...More

East Devon is a very good course (certainly not in the top bracket of UK courses but one you would want to play in Devon), with it being fairly local I have played it many times. It is generally in very good condition all year...More

A good place for lunch or a snack after a tramp along tbe coastal foot path, but mud/dogs are not appreciated as the atmosphere is friendly but not too informal!

Played the golf course on a glorious September day. Good layout with great views over Devon coastline and beyond. Only negative was the condition of the greens but only a minor point. Well appointed clubhouse with friendly welcome.
