The Chinchon Castle is located an easy walk from the Plaza, all up hill. Of course as you return to the Plaza it is all downhill. The castle itself was closed during our visit and appears to desperately need repair. The views from the castle...More

The exterior of the castle and the views make it worth a stop. Too bad it hasn't been restored. You can see Madrid on a clear day.

Just not very much interesting to see at this castle. Pile of rocks. Just enjoy the plaza and look at this from a distance.

A castle is closed and in poor condition, but the view of the valley is beautiful. Not worth a trip.

The location of the castle is spectacular, and it is quite incredible how the structure is still in such good condition considering it is completely neglected and nothing is being done to maintain it. Worth a side trip for 15 minutes to 30 minutes to...More
