A sample of small town main square
May 2018 • Couples
In the charming town of Pedraza this main square contains most of the elements of its singularity. Porticoes, old houses , pebbles and cobblestones floors, a couple of bars and old wooden doors. It is ample and inviting although not very alive in week days but fairly busy on week ends with visitors. The square communicates through a quaint passageway with a small square with a small yard and where the main restaurant in town is housed.

A middle age experience
Feb 2018 • Friends
It looks like a set but not, it's real. Terrific. Very impressive. Every wall is a piece of history. Fortunately, it has tried to maintain the character with the building restorations. The most interesting; the porticoed facades of the plaza and the restored church, which (it couldn't be otherwise), has its stork's nest in the tower.

An amazing old walled city, with a castle, just gorgeous. So lovely to be stay overnight here, our only experience out of a major town/city in Spain, and to see all the stars of the northern hemisphere.

Quaint and full of character
Nov 2017 • Family
Again, these town squares are not Disneyland but have character and more details than you can absorb in a single visit. Pedraza is a centuries old town built on top of a hill with only one way to get in or out of it.....talk about cool! Plaza Mayor is enjoyable to walk around it and sit outside the many bars around it to have something to drink and soak up the place.

Short stop-over in the village of Pedraza.
Sep 2017 • Solo
Plaza Mayor de Pedraza.

When we arrived on to the “Plaza Mayor”, we could not see the location as it is normally, this because it was filled with a wooden so called arena for what we are suppose “Bull fighting”. But the plaza seems to be very well conserved and the plaza where allot of events are taking place, we loved our stop over, and would say please go for a visit in the week, than you probably will see the Plaza as she really is.

Very old
Sep 2017 • Couples
Going back in time, this square is surrounded by very old houses and buildings. There are many original details left.

Beautiful medieval village
May 2017 • Couples
Hard to describe it's like a maze of little cobbled pathways and small roads. Easy to get lost.
Houses little artisan shops. Plenty of cafes and restaurants. Very old and traditional. There are still the original town squares where the people would congregate There are plaques spotted around which explain some of the history. Lovely visit a few spent away from the busy modern world we live in.

Best part of town
Oct 2016 • Friends
It's an amazing old town square with the church on a side and all the other sides of the square composed by old buildings with galleries supported by old columns.

The usual routine in Pedraza is to take a stroll around, have some beers or wines on the square before going to have lunch!
