Hello People, this is one of those don't miss the opportunity kind of reviews. Aside from the religious and spiritual part of this visit, the church has a lot to offer in its interesting and in some instances quirky displays. The decor of the church...More

You can see most of the southern part of the island from here, and right up to the mountains in the north. Loads of car parking; well-signposted from main road; walking route available; road surface great for cyclists. Refreshments (and rooms!) available at the top

My wife and I have been back to the monastery each time we visit Majorca. We hire a scooter and take a really slow meander up the winding road, which is an experience in itself, very safe if taken sensibly, you can stop safely in...More

We visited whilst on one of Claudis Trike Tours (see my separate review). A great route to the top via the twisting turning road passing all the struggling cyclists (hats off to them all). The monument at the top is impressive..... the views stunning. The...More

There is a bus (local) that goes near I think, it used to go up to the top, but I'm not sure if it still runs. It might be worth checking with the Mallorcan tourism office.

My in-laws got married here. We are talking like 30 years ago and the mother in law is Majorcan so whether that played a part. Pictures look amazing of their special day though. Not sure if people are allowed now days
